If this is your first time attending a Church IT Network National Conference, come meet some other first timers and learn how to get the most value out of your time with us.
We will explore the capabilities of the Microsoft Teams Cloud PBX capabilities in their current state to discuss the pros and cons of using it as a PBX in 2019. This will include high level discussion as well as an overview of Teams Direct Routing with a session border controller to bring your own SIP trunks to Microsoft Teams.
Session will be co-led by Chris Green from BEMA Information Technologies and multiple churches who have successfully transitioned from various on-prem solutions to the Teams platform and will include panel/Q&A discussion. Bring your questions and scenarios for an open discussion to determine if this is the right solution for you.

The last 5 years have brought tremendous change to Microsoft. The next 5 years will cement it.
What does Microsoft expect your environments to look like over the next 3 to 5 years? How much choice do you have in all this? What should you be learning? What is it going to cost?
In this session we will answer those questions and - if your presenter does his job well - have time for some meaningful Q&A.
NOTE: This is going to be a fast moving session focused on the modernization roadmap for the Microsoft client/server family of products. Dev components of the Azure family, and the deeper aspects of the business solutions family will be largely out of scope for this conversation.
